Grandma Brown comes to visit

Baby Jovi

Jovi is such a cute baby! I did not have work today so I thought it would be fun to do a little project, so I made the Tutu Jovi is wearing, she is such a trooper letting me dress her up and take pictures.

I chopped my hair off!!!!! I was getting so sick of my boring hair so as a mothers day gift Jared set up an appointment with his cousin Chris in Salt Lake to get my hair done. Chris owns a salon called Jagged Edge Retreat downtown  Salt Lake and another one in Draper, and they are amazing. I told him that I wanted to go lighter and I did not want to go any shorter then my shoulders and let him do the rest I LOVE IT! 

This is Jovi and her friend Halsey. They are so cute together. She came to play with us for a little while on Friday while her mommy and daddy went to get boxes to move :(

Shareesa got a new dog from Justin and Courtney when we were in Idaho she is a Jack Russell and her name is Maddy, she is so cute and fun! On the way home Jovi and Maddy took a nap together. I wish I could have slept too.

She finally figured out how to suck her thumb instead of her fist GO JOVI! 

"I Don't like shots.. Mommy held my hands down so I would not bump the nurse while she poked me.  I cried and cried and cried, mommy almost cried too." 

"They measured how tall I am and took my weight, I have grown so much! At my first appointment I weighted 6 LBS 13 OZ and was 20 inches long, then when I went back at 2 weeks old I weighted 8 LBS 4 OZ and was 21 inches long. I am now 11 LBS 15 OZ and I am 23.5 inches long.  I'm in the 97th percentile for my height, I'm going to be tall like my mom." 

"Little do I know but I am on the way to the Doctors. I have to get my shots, and Mommy wishes Daddy did not have to work so he could go to comfort me. I'm starting to get so big and they are going to see just how much I have grown in the last month and a half . Off we go"
